Joy Ride 2025 Rating. The joyride trailer gives us a glimpse at the friendship that the pair form on their journey across ireland after mully inadvertently kidnaps joy and her baby. Directed by adele lim from a screenplay by cherry chevapravatdumrong and teresa hsiao, joy ride is the kind of film that will make you laugh and cry in equal measure.

Joy ride could easily have felt like a series of increasingly outrageous skits but, thanks to the chemistry between its leads and the tonal confidence of first time director adele. Despite a few minor problematic areas in being formulaic, joy ride is hilariously fun and zany cinematic ride that is quite a joy to watch and relishes within its comedic raunchy bits.
